Third party proceedings: Getting it right
Third party claims have caused confusion and stress for a number of BC lawyers. Because of changes to both the rules and the limitation period to commence a third party proceeding, there has been an increase in claims reported by lawyers. Determine early in the litigation what third parties should be added and add them immediately to avoid a limitation issue.
